On this adventure, we make our own rules. We follow our own path. As two people living our best life together, we can do things different and just be together without the encumbrance of "the state" or any religious organization. Why do it this way?

It allows our relationship to grow without the cultural baggage of what "marriage" is.

We can commit to each other without the pressure to combine parts of our life (like finances) and allows for more freedom to choose what gets combined and what's the most equitable in what we choose to put together.

We can create, dictate, and change "the rules" in our relationship anytime we choose. We can focus on being a couple and building a life together. And we can both follow our hearts without the worry of legal complications and obscure religious laws.
